Go-to glam nails

Hey guys!! So my mom wanted me to do her nails tonight for tomorrow night's New Years dinner. It's a really basic glam nail. It's a great go to nail art if you want a quick but fancy looking nails :) So guys, I welcome you my mom's nails :D

Okie Let's get started!

Step 1:
Make sure you do two coat of a base coat. I know I always say this but if you want long lasting nails, you need to put a base coat. This nail hardener
with green tea by Nutra Nails is amazing!

Step 2:
Apply two coat of a color of your choice.
My mom wanted this red nail polish with a golden tint to it.
This is color is called Jodie from Julep.
Check out their nail polish here!!

Step 3:
Let it dry for about 1 to 2 min. Then
starting from the tip create a faded glitter effect
on your nails (with the most glitters on the tip).
Depending on you're preference, you can do this 2X in order to get more glitters on your nails.
I used Spit Fire #991 by Pure ICE nail polish.
It has a pinkish glitters. <3

Step 4:
Finally coat it with a topcoat.
NK polish Blue Diamond is fast dry and
so cheap. I got it at a beauty store for $1!!

Tada! Say hello to the finish product. I mom is currently in love with these nails :D. Her Birthday in on Jan 3 so feel free to leave her some love on my page!! <3

Color of 2013 inspired nails: Emerald

Hello there my pretties... So I'm so obsess about the 2013 color of the year. Emerald is such a gorgeous color.

So for my new years nails art, I didn't want to do a typical whimsical nail art. I wanted something elegant. So I decided to do this nail art. I hope you guys love it! Happy New Year!!! <3

Step 1:
Clean nail and appy one or two coats of base coat.
I used this nail harderner base coat with green tea by
 Nutra Nail.

Step 2:
Appy a light minty green polish on all four nails except
the ring finger nail.
I use this nail polish by Sinful Colors called Mint Apple #947 (it's a sparkly pale mint green)

Step 3:
On the ring finger nail, color this with a dark green
nail polish. I got this polish from Sinful Colors called
Last Chance #948. It's a mossy green.
Only do one coat of this.

Step 4:
Let the nails dry for 1 to 2 min. Then, using the dark green agian,
do an ombre effect on all on the nails (excluding the ring finger nail). I used a make-up sponge and dabbed it carefully in my nails.

Step 5:
Now on the ring fingernail, coat this with a green glittery
nail polish.
I used Sinful Colors nail polish called Call You Later #932.
Coat this 3 times

Step 6:
Finally, make sure you finish off your nails with a top coat
I used NK Blue Diamond top coat.

Alright! that it! It's a original design by me. All on the products I used at drugstore and beauty store bought and all under $2. Again have a safe and amazing New Years! God Bless you!

California Poppies Nail

First off I want to apologize for being MIA. I've been to cramp with school and house work that I've neglected this blog and my nails. I've been stress lately so I've reverted back to biting my nails :(. However, I've been nail biting free for 2 weeks now (hoooooray!!!!).

So anywho, enough about myself let's get back to nail art...

I was browsing through YouTube as usual and came across this really cute nail tutorial. So I whipped out my nail polish bag and did it!

To be honest, it was harder than I thought. You have to be really good at painting and drawing to do this right.

So here are the steps:

1. Remember to put your base coat first.
2. Coat you're nails with a white nail polish
3. Then, with a toothpick carefully draw out clover-like petals in red polish. Make about four sets of petal
4. Add the flower stem using a thin long brush. Use green polish
5. The dab yellow polish on the center of the red petals. Then dab black polish on the center.
6. Lastly, put a topcoat and let dry...

Voila! you have just created California poppies on your nails. :D
